There's Beta in the air!

What another lovely month full of service! Our chapter did well at state convention this year. We had members place to go to the national convention in scrapbook. Congratulations to all those who went to Myrtle Beach and participated in the fun! This year’s convention turned out great for us as a chapter, and we hope that next year’s convention will be even better. Disney World here we come!

Jackie Rivera who placed 2nd in the scrapbook competition had lots to say when asked to describe her experience. “Convention was great! I met so many new people from around the state and had fun participating in the entire event, beginning to end. At first, I didn’t think I was going to win, but I calmed my nerves and was able to better enjoy the competition. There was a lot of time and preparation put into making the scrapbook, and I’m really happy I could bring home a win for the club."

The calendar is full of fundraiser, charity, and event credits. The MDA shamrock drive, car wash, and National Beta Club Week are opportunities to look forward to as this month comes. More information about upcoming events and opportunities are updated on our website often. Double check to make sure all requirements are completed to remain an active club member. There are only three months left in the 2016-2017 school year, which is plenty of time to complete our duties as a National Beta Club member.
