Great Wolf Lodge: Beta Leadership Summit
How are you feeling, Betas?
Recently some #ROHIBETA members and I went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC for a National Beta Club leadership summit. It was a great experience, and might I add on behalf of everyone else, it was very relaxing and fun. We learned that communication and teamwork are key skills that we should develop early on as Betas and as people, in general. Through communication, teamwork can become more efficient. Through teamwork, the task can get done quicker. In addition, we learned that taking the time to just speak to someone could mean the world to that person. Speak to someone else as you would want someone else to speak to you. Also, while we were there, we had a guest speaker @grantbaldwin who taught us that the way you choose to feel, has a bigger impact than many people would think. Even when you aren't feeling at your best, just saying you feel great and speaking positively to yourself can actually make you feel better. So, the next time someone asks how you are, reply with "I'm great!", no matter how you're feeling.
P.S. Check out some of the photos from our trip on Instagram (rhhs_beta) & Twitter (@RHHSBetaClub)!
