Beta Madness

Let’s spring into service! National Beta Club Week was observed the week of March 6-10 where members of the RHHS Beta Club along with other Betas from around the country celebrated being Betas! Each day members revealed what being a part of this national organization and giving back to the community meant to them individually by taking pictures, posting on social media and expressing themselves publicly during this special week. Our chapter’s MDA charity opportunity continues through March 31 to raise funds and awareness for Muscle Dystrophy. There are still so many chances to get involved and participate in different service events this spring semester. The Come-See-Me festival is coming up April 20-29; this is a great time to service hours completed.

Anyone who wants to be either an officer or co-chair in the 2017-2018 school year needs to be in good-standing this year and be present during the April monthly meeting when we take nominations. EVERYONE should be aware of their status as a member and what it takes to continue membership into the 2017-2018 school year. Seniors must meet ALL membership requirements to be eligible to receive the National Beta Club graduation cord during senior awards night. Any member who is unsure of what to do to keep track of hours or who thinks they may not be able to complete the requirements is encouraged to see Mrs. Tucker (A-230) or Mrs. Spevak (A-231) during lunch/RTI or contact membership.rhhsbeta@gmail.com.
