April showers bring May service!
There’s still lots of service to be done! Don’t forget as
the school year winds down how much there is still to do in the community. Just
this month our chapter had plenty of opportunities to get involved and be
active in the area. For example our Muscular Dystrophy Association shamrock charity
drive raised $938! We also offered a Mellow Mushroom pizza breakfast and Chick-fil-A fundraisers along with numerous spirit
night events for sports and performing arts. The 2017 Come-See-Me
festival started April 20, and spots are still needed to fill certain events
during this week. For more information on Come-See-Me visit the
event website or check the City of Rock Hill’s web page.
Betas-- especially senior Betas, be sure to get all service hours and necessary requirements to remain a member of our club. For all graduating seniors a minimum of at least 15 service hours, 2 charity credits, 2 fundraiser credits, and 2 event credits must be completed prior to graduation practice in order to receive the National Beta Club graduation cord.
