Beta Info 21-22

Congratulations on your outstanding academic achievement during the 2021-22 school year! Earning a grade point average of 3.75 or higher, including Carnegie credits earned during middle school, qualifies you for membership in the Rock Hill High chapter of the National Beta Club. The National Beta Club is the nation’s largest independent, educational, non-profit youth organization. Our chapter not only upholds the values of scholarship, leadership and service, but we also aspire to be role models of good citizenship and school spirit for Rock Hill High.

As a member of the Beta Club, you’ll participate in service hours offered both inside and outside of Rock Hill High School, through youth organizations and other district educational opportunities. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in regional, state-level and national competitions and conventions to enhance your skills as a scholar and leader.

Please take a moment to review all that our club has to offer, including the requirements for membership in our chapter Constitution and By-laws. All of the information can be found on our chapter blog, rhhsbeta.blogspot.com. The blog also is linked from the Beta Club page on the Rock Hill High website, located under the Student Life section.

Should you wish to join, please complete the member information sheet, also located under the Member Info tab of our blog and submit a dues payment of $25 to the Beta Club. Please email your member info sheets to membership.rhhsbeta@gmail.com. To pay your dues, you can mail a check or money order to Rock Hill High School, you can pay online, or you can pay Mr. Barber in person in A-lobby on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you choose to pay online, there will be a $4 processing fee. You can pay online by going to the Rock Hill High website, clicking on ‘Pay Fees Online’ at the bottom of the home page, and filling out the form.

The induction ceremony for incoming, new members is Monday, November 1, 2021 from 7-8 p.m. The ceremony will be in-person this year, so please stay tuned to rhhs.blogspot.com for updates. Please RSVP for the induction ceremony when you return the membership information sheet. The deadline to accept membership is no later than 3:45 p.m. on Friday, October 14th, 2021.
